What to do to Protect Your Car

First, make sure everything is sealed. Don’t just close your doors and windows, check the rubber sealing around doors and glass panels. Next, disconnect the battery. Most of the cars now are computerized, have electronic accessories like screens, or have electronic components especially with precision instruments. If the water reaches the battery terminals or electrical components, it could short circuit the wiring system of the car.
